In her genealogy of the descendents of John Tucker, Anna Miner refers to the Book of Biographies, Grafton County, in which it is stated that Benjamin moved from Dartmouth, MA to Bethlehem, NH for health reasons. Among the papers found during her genealogy research was a document which specified in great detail the building of the house in which Benjamin and Maria lived on Park Avenue in Bethlehem, NH. The amount spent was "...the sum of 1,050 in Boston funds to be payble [sic] as follows, 200 when lumber is del'd on the spot, 300 when building is enclosed & shingled 200 when the mason work is completed and the balc when the entire contract in performed...".
