He was a salesman wtih Peck Oldsmobile in New Brunswick for the past four years. Mr. Peters previously had worked for Reynolds Oldsmobile in Metuchen for many years....

Surviving are three sons, Bertram of Gaithersburg, Md., Stephen G. and Anthony, both of Anaheim, Calif; two brothers, John Peters of Whiting and William Peters of Brooklyn, N.Y; and five sisters, Peggie Christo of South River, Cathy Bach and Theresa Whitelock, both of Spotswood, Patricia Walker of Pompton Lakes and Edna Meehan of the Colonia section of Woodbridge, and two grandsons.

Services will be tomorrow 8:30 a.m. at The Brusnwick Memorial Home....East Brunswick, followed by a 9:15 a.m. Mass ...at Innaculate COnception R.C. Church, Sportwood. Burial will be at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City......5

Born and raised in Jersey City, Theresa moved to Spotswood where she lived for over 50 years. She was a cummunicant of Immaculate Conception Church, and loved spending time with her family and friends, she was an avid reader.......

She was predeceased by her first husband Robert John Whitelock, her daughter Catherine Whitelock, and her second husband Edward Daley.

She leaves behind her children, Robert G. Whitelock, Judith M. Novak and husband Greg, Rosemary Snure and husband Jerry, Regina M. Kazar and husband Ernie, Thomas R. Whitelock and wife Dolores, Theresa M. Pocchia and husband Jon, Mary E. Hunter and husband Michael, and her favorite son, Joseph P. Whitelock.

Theresa was a devoted grandmother, leaving behind her grandchildren Daniel W hitelock, Jake and Page Novak, Lindsay and Jacob Leff, Lee, Lisa and Shaun Snure, Patricia (and fiance Dan Farina), Catherine and Matthew Kazar, Brian Whitelock, Nicholas and Samantha Pocchia, and Bobby and Kaylee Hunter, and loving great grandmother to Adriana and Antonio Becastro.

She is survived by 3 sisters, Cathy Bach, Patty Walker and husband George, and Edna Meehan.

Theresa also leaves 4 step-children, and 4 step-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held On Wednesday, August 3rd ....at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury ARoad, East Brunswick. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 4th...at Immaculate COnception Church in Spotswood. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.4
