Parish record of the marriage of Robert Stanleick and Elizabeth Gibbings

ChartsEdith Woodley Bailey Family Tree

Name VariationThe family name was also spelled Gibbing.5
Birth*"Coleridge" was given as her birthplace in the 1851 census, and she was identified on her marriage certificate as "of" the Coldridge parish. The most obvious possibility for the baptism of our Elizabeth Gibbings in Coldridge is on 29 Sep 1814, parents given as Nichols (Nicholas) Gibbings and Susan (Susanna) Evans (who were married 10 Apr 1796). This date makes most sense given the ages provided for Elizabeth in the censuses of 1841 (age 25), 1851 (age 37), 1861 (age 47) and 1871 (age 57), and the age given at her death, which would have put her birthday in mid-1812 to mid-1813
There is another baptism dated 14 Jan 1811, parents given as John Gibbings and Elizabeth, which seems unlikely.6,1,7,8,9,10,11,12
