She was a member of the Lutheran Resurrection Church in St. Albans, N.Y. and the Eastern Star Chapter 686, New York. Survivors include her husband Thomas Haughey, Daytona Beach; one son, Thomas Haughey, Jr., New Smyrna Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Campbell, Edgewater, and Mrs. Janet Heckwolf, Miami; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Casey, Edgewater; and two grandchildren.1 
Note*Josephine's mother was Pauline Leopoldine Miller, 1885-1974. Her obituary read:

Mrs. Pauline Leopoldine Miller, 88, Edgewater, a resident here for one year, died today at her home. Born in Vienna, Austria, she came here from Boston. She was a retired ornamental rug dyer, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Grange, Senior Citizens' Club and American Red Cross, Brighton, Mass; the Townsend Club, Brookline, Mass; and the Moose Club of Jamaica Plains, Mass. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Haughey, Daytona Beach, and Mrs. Pauline Towk Casey, Edgewater; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. Cardwell, Port Orange is in charge.9

Tom was known for his sense of humor and fantastic imagination. He was a devoted friend to many. He will be missed by all.1
