Age 87 of the Leisure Towne section of Southampton passed away Saturday November 13 2004 at Virtua West Jersey Hospital Marlton.

Born in N. Bergen NJ Violet resided in Valley Stream NY before moving to Leisure Towne in 1988.

Wife of the late William J. Maher. Mother of the late Violet Ferrare. She is survived by one daughter and two sons-in-law Patricia and John Ansbro of Bellerose NY and Salvatore Ferrare of Stroudsburg PA; one son and daughter-in-law William John and Elizabeth Maher of Milford MA; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters Mary Bryan and Ruth Haughey both of Southampton; and two sisters-in-law Helen Eckard of Hicksville NY and Catherine Sewall of San Antonio TX.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday November 16 2004 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM and again on Wednesday November 17 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME 58 N. Main St. Medford NJ (609) 654-2439.
