Pasquale Landriani1,2,3,4,5

#1950, b. 18 September 1862, d. 6 December 1934
Last Edited17 Aug 2018
Name Variation Pasquale Landriani was also known as Londrianni.4
Birth*He was born on 18 September 1862 at Episcopia, Potenza, Italy.2,3,4
Marriage*He married Mariantoinia Sodano, daughter of Luigi Sodano and Leonilda (?), circa 1885 at Italy.1,2,3,4,5
Birth of SonHis son Ralph Landriani was born on 25 December 1886 at Italy.6,7,8,9,10,1,2,11,3
Birth of SonHis son Luigi Landriani was born on 17 December 1888 at Italy.2,3,4
Birth of DaughterHis daughter Giuseppina Landriani was born on 27 March 1891 at Italy.2,3,4
Immigration*I have not yet confirmed immigration dates for this family.

The 1910 U.S. census states:
1890: Ralph (Pasquale and Marie's eldest), who would have been 4 years old
1891: Pasquale (the father)
1893: Marie (the mother)
1898: Lena Sordonna (Marie's mother), and Pasquale and Marie's children Louis and Josephine

On his naturalization petition, Pasquale stated that he immigrated in 1892, leaving Naples, Italy, aboard the ship Neustria on 25 August and arriving in the port of New York on 15 September.
Whether 1891 or 1892, it seems unlikely that Pasquale brought a young child with him but not his wife. It seems more likely that it was as follows:
1891 or 1892: Pasquale
1893: Marie (and possibly one or more children)
1898: Lena (and possibly one or more children)

In 1915, Ralph stated he had been in the US for 26 years, giving an immigration date of c1889.6,3,4,7
Birth of DaughterHis daughter Lena Landriani was born on 28 August 1894 at New York.2,3,4
Birth of SonHis son William Landriani was born on 8 November 1896 at New York.2,3,4
Birth of SonHis son Natale Landriani was born on 25 November 1899 at New York.2,3,4
Occupation*He was a tailor on 21 April 1910.4
Census1910FedUS*He and Mariantoinia Sodano appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, at 289-291 N. 8th Street, enumerated 21 April 1910. Their children Luigi, Giuseppina, Lena, William and Natale were listed as living with them, as was Mariantoinia's mother, Leonilda (?)4
(Widower) DeathHe became a widower when Mariantoinia Sodano died on 9 December 1913 Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.2,12
Naturalization*He was naturalized on 21 July 1925 at Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.3
Death*He died on 6 December 1934 at Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, at age 72. Death certificate #23761.2,13
Note*Both of his parents were born in Italy.4
