Mary Boyle was also known as Minnie Boyle The family knew her as Grandma Esposito, because she was a true stepmother to Howard Tucker Bailey and his brother. Shortly after her marriage, Mary discovered William had two other children and apparently after the 1900 census she insisted he bring them to live with them. Howard Tucker Bailey and Howard Louis Bailey both spoke of her with great affection. Her devotion to William's children didn't end after William died and Minnie married Joseph D'Esposito.^4,1,5
