---Secondly - I give to my son William Martin my homestead place - Bounded Southerly by lands of Jacob Woolley westerly & Northerly by lands of Francis Jeffery and easterly by lands of George Brown. I also give and devise to him a lot of woodland left to me by my father adjoining lands of Francis Jeffery, Jacob Woolley & others also one equal half of a lot of wood land lying on the west side of the Ale Wife Brook adjoining Land of Joseph Covert and others also a lot of Meadow land lying on poplar Brook adjoining Lands of William Jeffrey, Francis Jeffery & others all to he held, used, occupied and enjoyed by him his heirs and assigns for ever after he attains to the age of Twenty one years. It is hereby declared and it is my will that he shall provide for and take due and prudent care of his Mother During her lifetime & that he will be liable to and subject to the payment of all my Just and Lawful debts funeral expenses and the legacies herein after directed to be paid to my several legaties
---Thirdly - I give and devise to my daughter Mary Martin the other equal half of the above mentioned lot of woodlland lying and being on the west side of Ale Wife Brook to he held occupied and enjoyed by her & her heirs & assigns for ever. I also give My Daughter the before mentioned movable property after the Decease of her Mother
---Forthly I give and bequeth to each of my Children Jesse Martin, Hannah Holmes, Ann Martin, Mary Martin & Elizabeth Wilson Ten Dollars to be paid to them by my son Willian one year after he arrives at full age as aforesaid and in case my said legatees should happen to decease before the said legacies become due I order and direct that the legacy or legacies shall be paid to the issue of their own body - and if shall so happen that they leave no issue it is my will that it shall be divided equally between the other surviving Legatees. It is also to be understood that the legacy of Ten Dollars bequethed to my Daughter Elizabeth shall be also equally divided between my other legatees in case she herself or a legal representative shall not return to this part of the Country to claim.

And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my son-in-law Josiah Holmes & Jesse Martin Executors to this my Testament and last will.

In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this seventh dat of February in the year of our Lord one thoughsand eight hundred and twenty eight. N.B.
